President of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Timor-Leste (AEMTL), Mrs. Hergui Luina Fernandes Alves, along with members of the Executive Council, holds a formal meeting with His Excellency the Minister of State Administration (MAE), Mr. Tomás do Rosário Cabral, in the Minister’s Office.
The meeting aims to present the AEMTL Vision and Mission program, with an emphasis on empowering women to achieve economic independence, and contributing strongly to national development.
AEMTL also presents the results of the 2025 Timor-Leste Women Entrepreneurs Database, which includes fundamental data regarding the situation of women in the business sector, to serve as a reference for evidence-based public policy formulation.
In this context, His Excellency the Minister expresses appreciation for the AEMTL initiative and reaffirms the Government’s commitment to continue providing effective support to women in their business lives.
The Minister also shares the priority program with According to the Ministry of State Administration, it shows readiness to develop strategic partnerships in the long term, with the goal of promoting gender equality and economic inclusion in Timor-Leste.
