TIMOR-LESTE WOMEN IN BUSINESS AWARDS – 2026<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The International Finance Corporation (IFC)<\/strong> and the Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Empresarial das Mulheres de Timor-Leste (AEMTL)<\/strong>, in partnership with the Governments of Australia and New Zealand<\/strong>, are honored to host the Timor-Leste Women in Business Awards 2026<\/strong> under the patronage of the President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We invite you to fill in the form below to nominate an individual, organization, institute or initiative for the \u2018Timor-Leste Women in Business Awards 2026\u2019<\/strong> which will take place on September 17th<\/sup> in Dili<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udcc5 Nominations are open from 4th<\/sup> May to 8th <\/sup>July 2026.<\/em><\/strong><\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nomination Requirements:<\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Anyone may submit a nomination (to either nominate yourself or another person who deserves recognition) for the Women in Business Awards with the candidate\u2019s permission.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Nominations are open to individuals of all nationalities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The Nominees (the person who is being nominated) can be from the public sector, private sector, corporate sector, associations, or non-government organizations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Only businesses or individuals associated with organizations based in Timor-Leste are eligible for nomination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Nominees cannot be a judge or affiliated to a judge on the Awards Committee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. Out of 10 award categories, nominations can be submitted for a maximum of 2 awards categories (across both individual and institution).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Nominations must clearly explain why the candidate deserves the selected award. Sufficient information highlighting the nominee’s individual and corporate achievements is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Winners must attend the Award Ceremony in Dili to receive their award in person.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. Each individual or affiliated organization must have its own separate nomination form to be considered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further information requests.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  11. The awards winners from prior years are not eligible to apply again for this year’s awards.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The Awards aim to:<\/em><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \u2022 Recognize women who demonstrate excellence in their careers, businesses, and entrepreneurial ventures, while serving as role models and inspiring others.
    \u2022 Recognize and encourage the efforts of public and private sector leaders, and civil society actors who contribute to advancing gender equality, diversity, good governance, and financial inclusion.
    \u2022 Acknowledge institutional and individual initiatives that promote and mainstream diversity and financial inclusion for women through innovative projects, policies, and practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
