The President of the Business Association of Timorese Women, Mrs. Hergui Luina F. Alves, and P.I. Mrs. Sandra F. Alves do Rego, participated in the seminar on the concept of the National Development Bank of Timor-Leste, held in the Auditorium Hall of the Ministry of Finance, Ai-Tarak Laran, Dili.
The seminar aimed to promote technical and institutional reflection on the creation and operationalization of the National Development Bank of Timor-Leste (BNDTL), a strategic instrument already foreseen in the IX Constitutional Government Program, expressly referred to in its Organic Law as a structuring initiative for sustainable and inclusive economic development in Timor-Leste.
The Prime Minister of RDTL, Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão, opened this important seminar on the concept of the National Development Bank. He considered that the creation of the National Development Bank is a decisive step (or a major milestone) in building a strong, inclusive, and diversified economy in Timor-Leste.
